Frequently Asked Questions

A lot of people want to know what the Boston Dream is.

Is the Boston Dream a team?

The Boston Dream is a Soccer Association. It's more than a team. It's a network, a community, a movement to keep women engaged in soccer. In fact, every team we play, every group we work with, becomes part of the Association through association.

But... there's a team?

The team is the glue that holds it all together. People come to play. They stay for the leadership, education, community, and opportunity.

Can I play?

The team is made up of former professional players, former D1, D2, and D3 college players, and aspiring professionals. We run events and invite people to participate, and if you're good enough, you can play! But we find places to play for everyone - from professional teams all over the world to local teams playing all nights and all seasons.

If not on the team, how else can I participate?

We have three core events - the Boston Women's Summit, the Dream Soccer Coaches Clinic, and the Dream Networking Event. All of them bring together people who support women in soccer, like you!

Is there a cost to play for the Dream?

The Dream strives to keep costs to a minimum. We pay for coaches, uniforms, referees, and field time whenever we can. This is thanks to Dream Members, Partners, and Sponsors. First Team Players even have their player registration covered by the Dream. You can see full details in the Player Expectations below.
